Our Seminar

 

On August 30, 2022 at 10 a.m., a seminar was held to disseminate the results and products of our project; 'Developing 21st Century Skills with Inspiration from Nature'. We presented the products of our project: STEAM Teaching Guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bP0o15RWGTGbyq-GpOi_i7LPoliT6_mx/view?usp=drivesdk  and The Nature Poems https://heyzine.com/flip-book/25cff985cb.html  as well as the website: https://skillsinspiredfromnature.blogspot.com/ . After the presentation, the participants of the seminar became interested in the STEAM method and undertook to present and use this method at work in their own school and institution: Primary School No. 1 in Lębork, Complex of Schools of Food Economy and Agribusiness in Lębork, EDUQ Association, Regional Youth Center, Social Language Primary School LTO Lębork.

  STAGES OF THE EDUCATION SYSTEM ECEC Institutions for children aged 0-3 years: crèche ( żłobek ) kids club ( klub dziecięcy ). Attending a crèche is not obligatory, crèches are not  part of education system as they are supervised by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. Institutions for children aged 3-6 years: nursery school ( przedszkole ) pre-school class in a primary school ( oddział przedszkolny w szkole podstawowej ) pre-school unit ( zespół wychowania przedszkolnego ) pre-school centre ( punkt przedszkolny ). Pre-school education is optional for 3-, 4- and 5-year-old children and obligatory for 6-year-olds. Every 3-, 4- and 5-year-old has an  entitlement to a place  in a pre-primary setting in his/her locality.
